Women Across Cultures

Women Across Cultures is open to everyone. It is a group which offers activities designed to help you learn about life in the United States and other parts of theworld and gives you the opportunity to interact with and learn from others. We welcome both international and American women. The group offers a cooperative babysitting service for your children while you attend the meetings. Each month’s schedule will appear on this page as soon as the information is available.

Meetings are held every Friday during the academic year, 10:00 am to 12 noon at the Student Recreation Center, except for occasional trips. The programs listed will begin at 10:30. Free parking is available for the 2-hour meeting.

Evening meetings will be scheduled from time to time for those who are unable to attend the morning meetings.

During the summer, Women Across Cultures meets informally every two weeks at different locations. Meetings are usually from 10:00-12:00 noon. Children are always welcome, and visitors and newcomers are encouraged to join us. Transportation can be arranged.

If you need a ride, please contact Liz Finklea no later than Thursday evening at 304-685-8312.
