Resources for Parents and Families of International Students

Welcome to the Mountaineer Family

We're glad to have you! The Office of Global Affairs is here to be a central point of contact between you and your student and the WVU community. WVU is home to nearly 1,500 international students from 105 countries and we’re grateful to have you and your student as part of our diverse community.

WVU works diligently to ensure that all students have a positive and inclusive experience -- we understand that it is a huge decision to send your child or loved one overseas for their education. We strive to make the process as easy as possible, ensuring they receive the highest quality education, as well as enriching social and cultural learning.

Mountaineer Parents Club

All families of WVU students are encouraged to join the Mountaineer Parents Club. The Mountaineer Parents Club will help keep you informed on WVU events and important dates and deadlines.
