Monday, March 26 WVU's Mountainlair Ballrooms
West Virginia University has invited students, primarily those in the 5th, 6th, or 7th grades, to an International Festival featuring the cultures, languages and traditions of the students from around the world who come to Morgantown to pursue their education.
This year's schools attending are:
Cheat Lake Elementary School, Grade 5 Morgantown High School, Grades 9-12 Suncrest Middle School, Grade 8 Westwood Middle School, Grade 7
Entertainment for both groups from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM will include a fashion show, musicians and more.
Admission is free. Some pocket money may be required if students wish to purchase souvenirs and snacks. It will be a fun filled day packed with many different activities from around the globe. Teachers are encouraged to assign research tasks to students to help them get the most out of the exhibits.
